Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of experience at Human Services Specialist 1 level or two years working with the public applying policies, rules, or guidelines.
• Equivalency of education, training, and experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants in-person and by phone to determine benefit eligibility.
• Perform eligibility determinations, redeterminations, and periodic reviews.
• Assist customers in-person and by phone with benefits applications and questions.
• Communicate eligibility decisions and provide trauma-informed, person-centered services.
