The starting pay range is $27.94 to $31.29 per hour, with advancement for prior related experience. The role requires strong data entry, client interviewing skills, and the ability to navigate multiple benefit systems and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field.
• Experience with state/federal benefit eligibility programs preferred.
• Associates/Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and determine eligibility for financial, emergency, and health care programs.
• Interview clients in person or by phone and guide them through the application process.
• Enter and verify data in state databases and coordinate with agencies.
• Provide training and maintain knowledge of public assistance programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with laws and procedures.
