Job summary

Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel & Executive Meeting Center is seeking a Houseman to support housekeeping by maintaining clean and well-stocked public areas, delivering linens and supplies, and assisting Room Attendants as needed.

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping/janitorial or hotel operations experience.
• Physically demanding tasks in fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with guests and staff.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Weekend/holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas.
• Deliver linens, towels, and supplies to guest floors.
• Transport and dispose of soiled linens and trash.
• Restock housekeeping closets and supplies.
• Assist with room setups and heavy lifting as needed.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety regulations.
• Provide prompt and courteous guest service.
