Job summary

Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel & Executive Meeting Center seeks a dedicated Houseman to support housekeeping by keeping public areas clean, stocked, and organized. You will assist Room Attendants, transport linens and supplies, and help with deep cleaning tasks as needed to ensure a welcoming guest environment.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel setting with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Strong guest-service mindset

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, employee areas)
• Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest floors and storage areas
• Collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recyclables to disposal areas
• Restock housekeeping closets and ensure supplies are available for Room Attendants
• Assist Room Attendants with cleaning projects, room setups, and heavy lifting as needed
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items to the appropriate department
• Follow cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and health regulations
• Provide prompt and courteous service in response to guest requests
• Assist with unloading deliveries and storing supplies properly
• Support other departments as needed for smooth hotel operations
