Job summary

The Midtown Hotel, a Colwen Hotels property in Boston, seeks a friendly and detail-oriented Part Time Houseperson to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel public areas and providing assistance to the Housekeeping team with stocking and delivery of supplies.

To be successful in this role you should be able to manage various tasks daily to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
• Detail oriented and able to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of public hotel areas and assist housekeeping with stocking supplies.
• Receive assignments, prioritize tasks, and respond to requests from guests.
• Transport and deliver items to guest rooms and move furniture as needed.
• Notify maintenance of needed repairs and set up function spaces per sheets.
