Job summary

Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel, a Colwen Hotels Property, seeks a friendly Houseperson to maintain cleanliness of public areas and support the housekeeping team. You will stock supplies, assist with deliveries, and manage daily tasks to ensure outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities include prioritizing assignments, responding to requests, cleaning interiors and exteriors, and assisting with room setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferred.
• Perform consistent work at the highest standard.
• Remain discreet and respect privacy of guests.
• Work quickly without compromising quality.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments from MOD and prioritize items.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Check inventory of cleaning cart and transport supplies.
• Clean and maintain exterior and interior hotel areas.
• Deep cleaning of rooms and public areas including carpets and windows.
• Maintain back of house areas and replenish supplies.
• Dust and polish furniture and remove marks from walls.
• Deliver items to guest rooms on request from front desk.
• Launder and manage soiled linens as needed.
• Clean guest rooms occasionally and notify maintenance of repairs.
• Set up function/meeting rooms and arrange furniture.
• Move and arrange furniture and handle trash removal.
• Provide support to room attendants and perform other duties.
