The Abbey Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to maintain pristine public spaces and deliver exceptional guest service. This role focuses on cleanliness, safety, and creating a welcoming environment for guests as they move through the resort.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public spaces, restrooms, and guest areas.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and assist guests as needed.
• Inspect assigned areas for safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
• Monitor supplies and restock as needed to ensure operations.

What You'll Do

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout public spaces, restrooms, and guest-facing areas.
• Create a welcoming environment by providing friendly, attentive service and assisting guests as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Identify and report maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and replenish housekeeping and cleaning supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Follow established safety, sanitation, and resort standards while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.

What You Bring

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and safe handling procedures is preferred.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as business demands require
