Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ, seeks a Public Area Attendant to maintain pristine lobbies, corridors and public spaces. You will vacuum, mop, and use cleaning equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency while upholding CIVANA’s wellness-driven guest experience.

The role rewards attention to detail, reliable communication, and the ability to work in a team within a resort setting. High school diploma preferred; prior hotel or resort experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, well organized and detail oriented.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel/resort or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mop and properly use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Completing assigned tasks, identify and investigate issues and resolve basic matters.
• Keeping all lobbies and public facilities in a neat and clean condition.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of designated office areas.

As a Public Area Attendant you will be responsible for:

• Vacuuming, mop and properly use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Completing assigned tasks, identify and investigate issues and resolve basic matters.
• Keeping all lobbies and public facilities in a neat and clean condition.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of designated office areas.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Language Skills

Previous hotel/resort or other related experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
