Job summary

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa in Carefree, AZ is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to ensure pristine guest rooms and a seamless guest experience. You will clean and prepare rooms to standards, restock amenities, update room status, and report maintenance or housekeeping concerns promptly.

Ideal candidates are service-oriented, with strong communication and organizational skills. Prior hotel or resort experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred.
• Good communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to HSKP standards
• Restock amenities and food and beverage items
• Update room status via telephone and on room assignment sheet
• Report any maintenance concerns
• Report any housekeeping concerns (dirty carpets, stains, etc)
• Ensure lights, radio and TV are in working order
• Turn in right away any lost and found items to supervisor
• Place any F&B dishware and glassware into the appropriate containers
• Complete any special cleaning tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous hotel/resort or other related experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or associates of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
