Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks a friendly, energetic Public Areas Steward to maintain cleanliness of public spaces, lobby, mezzanine, fitness center and pool, and warmly greet guests throughout the property.

This full-time, hourly role offers competitive pay and benefits, with room for growth within Marcus Hotels & Resorts and the opportunity to join the Local 122 collective bargaining agreement after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have physical stamina to move throughout the building daily.
• Properly use cleaning equipment and materials.
• English language comprehension preferred.
• Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with optional union membership after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Act as a steward of public areas, maintaining cleanliness and appearance.
• Warmly greet guests while in public areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the mezzanine, front desk area, and lobby.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the fitness center and pool area.
• Ensure locker rooms are stocked and clean.

What you will be doing

• Act as a steward of public areas, maintaining their cleanliness and appearance.

• Warmly greet guests while in public areas.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the mezzanine, front desk area, and lobby.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the fitness center and pool area.

• Ensure locker rooms are stocked and clean.

Position Requirements

• Possess physical stamina to move throughout the building daily

• Properly use all cleaning equipment and materials

• Comprehension of English language preferred

• Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment.
