Job summary

Ivy Hospitality seeks a Houseperson for day shifts in Kentucky. The role supports the housekeeping team by maintaining public areas, restocking supplies, and assisting guests with requests to ensure a welcoming environment.

Both full-time and part-time options are available, with a pay range of $13.00 to $15.50 per hour based on experience. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager, you will collaborate with other departments to uphold cleanliness standards, safety protocols,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Physically able to stand, lift, bend, and push heavy carts.
• Strong communication and professional guest/associate interaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Deliver linens, supplies, and amenities to housekeeping staff promptly.
• Assist with guest requests such as towels or bedding promptly and courteously.
• Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas with necessary supplies.
• Communicate with the housekeeping team to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures to protect guests, associates, and property.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance needs or safety hazards observed during daily duties.
• Ensure courteous and professional guest interactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols, including handling of keys and emergency procedures.
• Participate in daily hotel operations meetings and contribute to hotel strategy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager/Department Leader.
