Job summary

Athena Hospitality Group in Kentucky is seeking a House Attendant to play a key support role in the housekeeping department. The House Attendant will maintain cleanliness in public areas, assist with room supplies, and support housekeepers with various tasks to ensure a welcoming hotel environment.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not necessary. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, have strong attention to detail, and possess a reliable, positive attitude. Availability for primarily day shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive, guest-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other public spaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in common areas.
• Deliver linens and supplies to housekeepers as needed.
• Assist with stripping beds and removing used linens.
• Set up and break down meeting rooms as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
• Ensure all carts and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
