Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Houseperson to support the housekeeping team in maintaining clean, welcoming public areas and assisting with guest needs. The role involves delivering supplies, restocking carts, and working closely with associates to ensure efficient room turnovers.

The position requires physical stamina and strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and staff. Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, are available at Ivy Hospitality locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and push heavy carts.
• Excellent communication with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms).
• Deliver linens, supplies, and amenities to housekeeping staff promptly.
• Assist with guest requests (towels, bedding) promptly and courteously.
• Restock housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Follow safety procedures to protect guests and staff.
• Notify supervisor of maintenance needs or safety hazards observed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
