Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep hotel public spaces clean, welcoming, and polished in the Denver area. You will support daily housekeeping tasks, restock supplies, and maintain lobby, restrooms, and common areas to ensure guests have a comfortable experience.

This entry-level position emphasizes initiative, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be proactive and take initiative in an entry-level role.
• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Completion of required training and certification sign-off.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in maintaining the highest quality of service and cleanliness in hotel public areas.
• Restock linen closets and storage rooms with linens and supplies.
• Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when necessary.
• Vacuum and mop hallways and stairwells.
• Maintain the lobby area including registration desk and glass surfaces.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Maintain pool area and exercise room; monitor spa chemicals as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Public Area Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment in all hotel public spaces, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and polished experience.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Assist the team in providing the highest quality of service and cleanliness in the public areas of the hotel.
• Restock linen closets and storage rooms with linens and supplies.
• Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when necessary.
• Vacuum and/or mop hallways and stairwells.
• Maintain the lobby by cleaning the registration desk, vacuuming, and removing fingerprints from glass doors.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain the pool area by replenishing supplies, removing trash, cleaning tables and glass doors, checking spa water, and testing bromine levels.
• Clean and organize the exercise room by wiping equipment, mirrors, and glass doors, removing trash, and vacuuming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• A desire to take initiative and be self-motivated in an entry-level role.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Completion of training and certification sign-off.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.
