Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Public Area Attendant to uphold the cleanliness of hotel public spaces and create a welcoming environment for guests. This entry-level role focuses on maintaining lobbies, restrooms, and corridors, with opportunity for growth within the hospitality group.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, reliable, and able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally while standing for extended periods. Training and certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in hotel public areas to high standards.
• Restock linen closets and supplies as needed.
• Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when required.
• Vacuum and mop hallways and stairwells.
• Tidy lobby areas and clean registration desk and glass doors.
• Clean and restock public restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

As a Public Area Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment in all hotel public spaces, ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and polished experience.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Assist the team in providing the highest quality of service and cleanliness in the public areas of the hotel.
• Restock linen closets and storage rooms with linens and supplies.
• Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when necessary.
• Vacuum and/or mop hallways and stairwells.
• Maintain the lobby by cleaning the registration desk, vacuuming, and removing fingerprints from glass doors.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• A desire to take initiative and be self-motivated in an entry-level role.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Completion of training and certification sign-off.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.
