Job Description Summary

Clean and service the assigned public areas according to established quality standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned areas such as restrooms, lobby, public phone areas, vending areas, and employee break areas, following established standards.
• Strip and wax floors, clean and polish furniture, railings, tabletops, and mirrors in assigned areas.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through communication with other departments.
• Handle lost and found items according to procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Housekeeping experience and English speaking ability preferred.

Physical and Communication Skills

• Frequent standing and movement within the facility.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling approximately 200 lbs.
• Handling objects and equipment regularly.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling often.
• Strong communication skills for guest and employee interactions.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math for tasks like reading assignments and replacing linens.
• May require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
