Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience.
• DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance required at start.
• Thorough knowledge of DoD and Army public affairs regulations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Expertise in process mapping, value stream mapping (VSM), business process reengineering (BPR), and dependency mapping.
• Strong facilitation skills for strategic communication, approval workflows, and cross-directorate planning sessions.
• Experience developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and communications governance structures.
• Strong writing, editing, content development, and document-review capability.
• Ability to map strategic planning workflows, tasking flows, communication approval processes, and audit/compliance workflows.
• Government staff experience preferred.
• Advanced SOP writing and documentation development experience preferred.
• Experience conducting policy and regulation review, analysis, and implementation preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous-process-improvement methodology experience preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise workflows across public affairs, strategic communications, and digital transformation functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a strong understanding of Army Public Affairs processes and actively supports PAO leadership in reviewing, refining, and aligning office processes with current Army guidance.
• Helps leadership prioritize strategic requirements while ensuring transparency and consistent support to the broader PAO workforce, bridging transformation goals with day-to-day needs.
• Serves as a central enterprise integrator, ensuring cohesion across multiple domains, supporting the G6 transformation team in standardizing workflows.
• Exhibits collaboration, maintains composure under pressure, and demonstrates a customer-focused approach.
• Translates leadership intent into clear, actionable, people-centered processes that support objectives and daily operations.
• Strong communicator with organizational and time-management skills, capable of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work across directorates.
