Job summary

Entergy is seeking a skilled government affairs professional in New Orleans to shape the legislative and regulatory agenda that supports our operating conditions. You will research, develop, plan, and implement policies and programs to strengthen relations with government authorities, the public, shareholders, and employees.

The role involves engaging with legislators, governors' offices, and regulators to advocate for energy policy favorable to Entergy.

Qualifications

• BA in Law, BS Business or equivalent; Law degree strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of governmental/legislative experience.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Interface with legislators to promote favorable legislation and policy positions.
• Identify, monitor, and advocate for energy-related legislation.
• Develop community relations and business development strategies.
• Manage low-income initiatives, grants, and contributions participation.
