Job summary

Google seeks a Strategic Negotiator within its Public Affairs framework in Virginia. You will lead complex negotiations for infrastructure partnerships, work with policy teams and cross-functional partners, and shape data center initiatives to align with state priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.
Experience with public policy teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with technical infrastructure developments.
Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with government officials, community leaders, and key opinion formers.
Develop, lead, and execute multi-state public affairs strategies and campaigns.
Serve as ambassador for Google’s priorities, amplifying economic, energy, sustainability, and social contributions.
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive data center market development.
Translate corporate initiatives into tangible local benefits aligned with community priorities.
