Alfa Laval is seeking a Public Affairs Manager to organize and drive our external engagement across Food & Pharma, Energy, Ocean, and Service sectors. You will shape Alfa Laval’s public profile by engaging with associations, organizations, and advocacy groups to boost visibility and influence.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing- North America, you will help elevate reputation, expand access to forums, and position Alfa Laval as a trusted industry contributor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Public Relations, Journalism, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in public relations, external affairs, corporate communications or related fields.
• Experience building relationships with industry groups, economic development and community organizations.
• Experience shaping advocacy agendas, campaigns, coalitions, or third‑party engagement as an SME.
• Experience monitoring legislation and industry developments and producing summaries/reports.

Responsabilités

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to produce timely analysis and prioritization.
• Build and maintain relationships with trade associations, industry groups and regulatory bodies.
• Facilitate Alfa Laval’s participation in industry forums, coalitions and working groups.
• Engage with industry groups around economic and workforce development and best practices.
• Collaborate with external groups to support thought leadership and strategic campaigns.
• Coordinate with divisions and executives to align messaging and priorities.
• Identify partnerships and storytelling opportunities to boost Alfa Laval’s brand.
