Job summary

The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) invites qualified undergraduate and graduate students to join the DCSA Student Experience (DSE) 27 Cohort. Participants must remain full-time students through October 2028 and commit to at least 10 weeks (400 hours) this summer, with start dates around May–June 2027.

Selected interns will work in Public Affairs, supporting communications and media tasks. Placement is a temporary, non-developmental internship (GG-05/07).

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Selective Service if male born after 12/31/59.
• Enrollment in accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
• Maintain full-time student status through Oct 2028.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating/executing communication plans.
• Provide communications support for speeches, media engagements.
• Develop content for websites, social media, print, audio, photography, presentations, digital signage.
• Research, draft and edit informational materials on DCSA activities.
• Assist in communicating strategies and messages.
• Other duties as assigned.
