Job summary

W3Global seeks a Tax Manager for a well-established Charlotte CPA practice serving closely held businesses, family owners, and private wealth clients. You will work directly with the Managing Partner and own a meaningful workload with clear path to partnership.

Responsibilities include ownership of federal and multi-state compliance for partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, and individuals; proactive year-round tax planning; and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of specialized tax experience, public accounting firm preferred.
• Experience as Tax Manager, Senior or Supervisor.

• Take ownership of complex federal and multi-state compliance, handling both preparation and detailed review for Partnerships (1065), S-Corporations (1120-S), C-Corporations (1120), and Individual returns (1040).
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth clients, steering proactive, year-round tax planning and advisory engagements.
• Delivering technical reviews, guidance, and daily mentorship to junior tax staff.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of specialized tax experience with experience within a public accounting firm setting.
• Experience as Tax Manager, Senior or Supervisor.
