Job summary

Positronic is seeking a PTM Operator to perform set-ups and operate precision transfer machines on the production floor. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include machine changeovers, blueprint interpretation, tool selection, and ensuring quality parts while maintaining safety and compliance with AS9100 and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production requirements.
• Conducting inspections and maintaining documentation.
• Precision measurement and mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complete changeovers for machines to transition to new parts.
• Study blueprints and layout sheets to determine machining and tolerances.
• Select cutting speeds and tools based on material properties and shop math.
• Install part loaders and collets; verify positions with gauges.
• Operate machines, adjust tool positions, and ensure first-run conformance.
