Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in daily Operations and customer service at the Lakeland, TN store. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and help maintain accurate records under direct supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with inventory, handling cash, and delivering friendly, proactive service to customers. Prior experience is helpful; PTCB certification is preferred but not required at entry.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; check for interactions.
• Handle cash register, assist customers at checkout and OTC needs.
• Assist with inventory management and supplier shipments.
