Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification preferred or pursued for promotion to senior technician.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate dispensing; good computer skills and store inventory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties according to Company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians in system operations and cashiers if PTCB certified.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision; ensure prescriptions are entered correctly and check for drug interactions.
• Register related sales on the cash register and assist customers to find products.
• Handle non- urgent phone calls to physicians and third party claims processing; support inventory management.
