Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, processing prescriptions and supporting pharmacy operations. You will help maintain inventory, handle patient information, and ensure accurate dispensing while delivering a friendly customer experience.

Responsibilities include using pharmacy systems, scheduling workflow, and assisting with clinical services as needed. Prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are preferred but not required for entry,

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Earns and maintains PTCB certification or certification required for promotion.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and pharmacy department duties in accordance with policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Serve customers by greeting, assisting, and delivering a distinctive customer experience.
• Enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy and interactions, and support workflow.
• Assist with inventory management, orders, receiving, and warehouse overages/shortages.
• Support clinical services and coordination with providers as needed.
• Maintain compliance with the Pharmacy Code of Conduct and company policies.
