Job summary

Ashland Place Health & Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (Full Time - PTA) to provide therapy to patients in a skilled nursing facility under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You will document progress, implement the plan of treatment, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning while protecting patient privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy assistant curriculum accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Must hold a valid and current license in the state employed.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to SNF patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document patient progress within designated time period.
• Demonstrate ability to utilize the computer system effectively per company policy.
• Participate as an interdisciplinary team member to determine patient needs and plans of care.
