Job summary

Fiberhire is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Swansea, Massachusetts. The PTA will work with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver rehabilitation services aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence for residents.

The ideal candidate holds an active Massachusetts PTA license, has graduated from an accredited PTA program, and is committed to high-quality patient care. This is a full-time, in-person position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, transfers, gait, and mobility.
• Document treatments and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to optimize care.
