Fiberhire is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Franklin, MA to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver personalized therapy aimed at improving mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under licensed PT supervision.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Assist patients with exercises, transfers, gait training, and mobility activities.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to supervising PT and clinical staff.
• Document treatments, responses, and progress accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Promote patient safety and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and the team.
• Maintain a professional environment encouraging patient participation.
• Assist patients toward highest independence and quality of life.
• Follow all regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in care planning and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain complete clinical documentation.
