Job summary

Element Health Services seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in community and home settings, including Independent and Assisted Living Facilities. You will perform evaluations and care planning under a collaborative team in a supportive environment.

The role requires an active Florida PTA license, successful completion of a two-year PTA program, and current BLS certification, with outpatient/Medicare Part B experience preferred. 1–2 years experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in Florida.
• Current BLS certification.
• Outpatient/Medicare Part B experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Education: Graduated from an accredited two-year PTA program and ready to apply skills.
• Licensure: Licensed (or eligible) to practice as a PTA in Florida.
• Experience: Prior PTA experience; familiarity with skilled nursing facilities is a plus.
• Professional membership: Membership in state and national APTA is preferred.
• Interpersonal skills: Build relationships with patients and medical staff.
• Therapeutic knowledge: Apply physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Safety: Knowledge of hazards during treatment and safety precautions.
