Job summary

Element Health Services is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Florida. You will guide patients in evaluations and care planning, working in community and home-based settings within Independent and Assisted Living Facilities.

Responsibilities include developing plans of care, collaborating with clinicians, and ensuring safe, effective therapy. Active Florida PTA license and current BLS are required; 1–2 years of PTA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in Florida.
• Current BLS certification.
• Outpatient/Medicare Part B experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Education: Graduated from an accredited PTA program.
• Licensure: Licensed or eligible to practice as PTA in Florida.
• Experience: Prior PTA experience; familiarity with skilled nursing facilities is a plus.
• Professional Membership: Membership in state and national APPTA preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills: Build effective relationships with patients and medical staff.
• Therapeutic Knowledge: Apply physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Safety: Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions during treatment.
