Element Health Services is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Florida. You will guide patients in evaluations and care planning, working in community and home-based settings within Independent and Assisted Living Facilities.

Responsibilities include developing plans of care, collaborating with clinicians, and ensuring safe, effective therapy. Active Florida PTA license and current BLS are required; 1–2 years of PTA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in Florida.
• Current BLS certification.
• Outpatient/Medicare Part B experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Education: Successfully graduated from an accredited two-year program for physical therapist assistants, recognized by the appropriate accrediting agency

• Licensure: Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Florida

• Experience: Prior experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is required; familiarity with skilled nursing facilities is a plus

• Professional Membership: Membership in state and national American Physical Therapy Associations is preferred

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong administrative and public relations skills to build effective relationships with patients and medical staff

• Therapeutic Knowledge: In-depth understanding of physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment

• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of potential hazards during treatment and necessary safety precautions
