The Pines at Placerville is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Placerville, CA. This full-/part-time role offers hands-on patient care, documentation, and collaboration with Therapists to support resident independence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California required.
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention.
• Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use.
• Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence.
