Job summary

People Well Staffing seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant in Mountain View, CA to join a skilled nursing facility rehabilitation team. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans and help patients progress toward meaningful functional goals.

The role is permanent and full-time with compensation ranging from $48 to $55 per hour. You’ll collaborate with the rehab team to deliver patient-centered care and document progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active CA PTA license in good standing, or eligibility for licensures.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait, balance, mobility, and functional training.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers within the established plan of care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care team.
