Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in California. The PTA will carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and document patient activities accurately.

A commitment to respectful patient interaction and collaboration with staff is essential. Requirements include graduation from a CAPTE-accredited PTA/PT program, current state licensure, CPR certification, and the ability to lift 50

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State PTA/PT license and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for most of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
