Management Performance Associates is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinical team in California. The role focuses on delivering skilled patient care under a licensed Physical Therapist, documenting activities, and maintaining clear communication with patients and staff.

Candidates must be CAPTE-accredited, hold a valid state license and CPR certification, and be able to lift 50 pounds and stand most of the shift.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for the majority of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
