Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to assist licensed therapists in helping patients recover and regain mobility. You will support rehabilitation, improve strength and balance, and document services for billing.

Under supervision, implement individualized therapy plans, coordinate referrals, and ensure compliance with care plans and guidelines. A High School Diploma and PTA license (or eligibility) are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive care to residents seeking short-term/transitional rehabilitation.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services for accurate and timely therapy billing.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and organizational guidelines.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Identify needs for referrals to other disciplines to address comprehensive patient needs.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
