Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state PTA license.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide gait training, transfer training and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Assist with use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniques.
