Job summary

PCI Health Training Center is seeking a part-time Faculty Member for the PTA program to deliver didactic and laboratory instruction and supervise student clinical skill development. The role emphasizes maintaining current expertise, ensuring a safe learning environment, and fair assessment of student performance in line with ACCSC CAPTE standards.

Qualifications

• Academic credentials appropriate to the courses taught and consistent with ACCSC/CAPTE expectations for PTA faculty.
• Current, valid PTA/PT license and continuing education.
• Three years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and laboratory instruction per syllabi and objectives.
• Prepare lesson plans, labs, assessments, and instructional materials.
• Supervise and evaluate students in lab and skill-check settings with patient-safety focus.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and advising records per policy.
• Provide office hours and academic support to promote retention and success.
• Contribute to curriculum review, lab maintenance, and program assessment.
