Job summary

Kilgore College is seeking a Part-Time PTA Instructor to deliver classroom and lab instruction in alignment with the program curriculum. The role involves evaluating student performance, maintaining records, and fostering an engaging learning environment.

Collaborate with program faculty to ensure CAPTE standards are met, while upholding professional standards and flexible, student-centered teaching. Duties include accreditation reporting and participation in professional development as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires AAS in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Active PT or PTA license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years full-time post-licensure experience incl. 3 years clinical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and lab instruction aligned with objectives.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and records per policy.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure CAPTE compliance and program improvement.
• Utilize LMS and tech tools for instruction and recordkeeping.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and reported.
