Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Tucson, AZ is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Instructor to join our on-site campus team in a full-time role. You will bring clinical expertise into the classroom and lab, mentoring students and contributing to our CAPTE-accredited associate degree program.

Qualifications

Bachelor or higher? (not applicable)
Active, unrestricted PT or PTA license in AZ or valid US jurisdiction.
Minimum of three years post-licensure clinical experience.
Documented instructional expertise and knowledge of effective teaching methods.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Teach CAPTE-accredited curriculum through lectures and hands-on clinical lab simulations.
Infuse real-world clinical examples into lessons to cultivate critical thinking and compassionate care.
Monitor student progress, identify learning gaps, and provide targeted tutoring and mentorship.
