Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN to join our healthcare team in a skilled nursing facility. You will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and support patient mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in physical therapy settings (outpatient clinics, SNFs, or home health) preferred.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and rehabilitation practices for various populations.
• Strong communication and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress.
• Support patients in performing therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercises.
• Document patient care activities and maintain records.
• Collaborate with the team on discharge planning and transitions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
