Ayden Healthcare Oregon is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) PRN to join our skilled nursing facility team. You will work closely with licensed physical therapists to implement treatment plans and support patients in rehabilitation to regain mobility.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in PTA, current state licensure, and enjoys collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to educate patients and families, document progress, and contribute to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Requires an accredited Associate degree in PTA or related field.
• Current state licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Experience in outpatient clinics, SNF, or home health preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed PTs in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor progress.
• Support patients in performing therapeutic exercises to improve strength and mobility.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercises.
