Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for Autumn Lake at Salem County in Salem, NJ. You will provide PT-directed interventions and coach residents to improve balance, strength, and functional activity.

Qualifications

$40–$45/hour | PRN

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Salem County. Help skilled nursing residents put their rehabilitation goals into motion through treatment focused on walking, transfers, strength, and participation in everyday activities.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy interventions directed by the supervising PT's individualized plan of care.

• Coach residents through prescribed exercises to improve balance, strength, and activity tolerance.

• Practice bed mobility, sit-to-stand movements, transfers, and walking with appropriate assistance.

• Instruct residents in safe use of prescribed mobility equipment and reinforce techniques established by the PT.

• Monitor symptoms and functional performance, reporting changes and treatment concerns to the supervising therapist.

• Complete clear treatment notes and coordinate mobility guidance with nursing and rehabilitation staff.
