Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Salem County in Salem, NJ. You will deliver PT interventions under the supervising PT’s plan of care, focusing on walking, transfers, strength, balance, and participation in daily activities.

This PRN role offers $40–$45 per hour, flexible coverage around availability, and an unlimited referral bonus up to $1,000 per successful referral.

Formación

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing rehab is a plus; new graduates welcome.
• Ability to deliver treatment safely within an established plan of care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide PTA interventions under the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Coach residents through prescribed exercises to improve balance, strength, and activity tolerance.
• Assist with bed mobility, transfers, and ambulation with appropriate assistance.
• Instruct residents on safe use of mobility equipment and reinforce PT techniques.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Complete clear treatment notes and coordinate mobility guidance with nursing and rehab staff.

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at Autumn Lake at Salem County. Help skilled nursing residents put their rehabilitation goals into motion through treatment focused on walking, transfers, strength, and participation in everyday activities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide physical therapy interventions directed by the supervising PT's individualized plan of care.
• Coach residents through prescribed exercises to improve balance, strength, and activity tolerance.
• Practice bed mobility, sit-to-stand movements, transfers, and walking with appropriate assistance.
• Instruct residents in safe use of prescribed mobility equipment and reinforce techniques established by the PT.
• Monitor symptoms and functional performance, reporting changes and treatment concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Complete clear treatment notes and coordinate mobility guidance with nursing and rehabilitation staff.
