Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is expanding its Rehab Team in Mechanicsburg, PA, seeking a PRN/Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a neuro recovery and cognitive therapy program with gamified tools.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, delivering personalized treatment, and helping residents achieve functional goals in a modern care model. Hybrid team environment with ongoing education and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license to practice in PA.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of relevant facility experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized therapy programs for residents.
• Integrate interactive/gamified tools into treatment plans.
• Support residents with neuro conditions and cognitive decline.
• Contribute to a dynamic, evolving care model.
• Assist in development and education on screening processes.

Hospital Details

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in the provision of Physical Therapy services to residents, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Previous Facility experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
