Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in Mechanicsburg, PA seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN/per diem to deliver personalized rehab programs and integrate gamified tools for enhanced patient engagement.

You will work with a neuro-rehab focused team, assess residents, implement treatment plans, and support education on screening processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• National Certification Examination for COTA completed.
• Current, valid state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and documentation for residents.
• Integrate interactive/gamified tools into treatment plans and educate staff on screening processes.

Hospital Details

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to residents including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA required.
• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
