Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must have a current and unrestricted license to practice as a PTA in Idaho.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in evaluating and administering treatment programs.
• Implement exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and recovery techniques.
• Document patient progress and communicate changes in status.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, including HIPAA.
• Attend team meetings and participate in clinic program planning.
• Provide guidance to therapy aides.
