Nurse Next Door Coeur d'Alene is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide in-home services to patients across North Idaho. You will implement treatment plans, review caseload with supervising PT, and communicate patient status to the care team.

The role requires PTA licensure appropriate for Idaho, graduation from PTA program, and CPR; prior home health experience preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified as a physical therapist assistant in the practicing state.
• Graduated from a PTA curriculum approved by the relevant accrediting body; equivalence accepted where required.
• Passed a national exam for physical therapist assistants or credential evaluation confirms equivalence.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans ordered by the physician for all patients on caseload.
• Review caseload with supervising PT regularly.
• Communicate patient status and changes to the healthcare team and office staff.
• Educate patients and families on physical therapy modalities.
• Deliver modalities appropriate to patient status and age.
• Maintain accurate visit notes in the EHR on every patient.
