Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a licensed or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. In this facility-based role, you will implement PT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments that restore patients’ abilities with compassionate, patient-centered care.

The PTA will work closely with the Director of Rehab and multidisciplinary staff to optimize outcomes, support families, and ensure high-quality service in a patient-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities as prescribed.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to coordinate patient care.
• Focus on restoring, reinforcing, and enhancing patients' physical abilities.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support families as needed.
